No. Securibook is for companies or individuals who already have a booking system (maybe integrated into a CRM or even a simple email calendar) but want to complement it with a very simple booking guarantee process. Once configured, it takes 10 seconds to send a booking guarantee request.
Securibook costs you nothing up front and there are no contracts to sign. Securibook take a commission from your no-show fees and cancellation fees at the end of each month, and we pay you the remaining balance. This means that if all of your customers attend or cancel with sufficient notice, our service is free! You never have to pay us anything - we just pay you!
Securibook is for any company or individual that takes bookings and loses revenue due to customers not attending their booking, or cancelling with insufficient notice. Common examples are:
• An estate agent that has booked a property viewing and the viewer doesn't show up or tries to cancel with insufficient notice.
• A restaurant that has booked a table and the customer doesn't show up or tries to cancel with insufficient notice.
• A golf course that has booked a tee time and the players don't show up or try to cancel with insufficient notice.
You can use Securibook to guarantee bookings and easily charge your customers in the event of no-shows or cancellations.
See here for a detailed explanation. But in brief, you would:
• Book your customer in using your own booking system.
• Use Securibook to send your customer a 'magic link' with a guarantee request (takes 10 seconds per customer)
• Your customer completes the request by providing a valid payment method. Your customers are not charged anything up front.
• If your customer doesn't attend or is late for their booking you can use their payment method to charge them a pre-agreed penalty fee. Entirely at your own discretion.
We do not store any payment methods ourselves. All payment methods are stored with Stripe, who are a Level 1 certified PCI service provider - this is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
You can charge a penalty fee by clicking a single button. The payment will be made to Securibook, and Securibook will pay you each month minus our commission fee. All penalty fees are charged entirely at your discretion.
We want to keep Securibook subscription-free.
If we paid teams/companies directly, we would need to invoice each team/company for our platform commission each month and potentially chase for payment. This adds a layer of administration,
which in turn would cost money to administer and would probably result in an increase in our commission fee. Such delays would also stifle cashflow, which may result in us having to implement a monthly subscription
fee instead.
